We provide labor doula services, childbirth education and placenta encapsulation. We support birth in hospital, home and birth center settings. As doulas, we aim to support your individual needs while also preparing you for what to expect realistically for birth and the postpartum period. We understand that each family is unique, and we are prepared to support your family in the choices that you make for yourselves. Our doula support includes support during pregnancy with childbirth education, navigating pregnancy and discomforts, and providing information on local resources. During labor and birth, your doula will be present with you and your partner to assist with guidance and physical coping techniques, nourishment and encouragement.

We live in a time that does not give birth proper credit for being the monumental experience that it is, but we are proud to do so.

We are ready to meet you where you are in both life and in labor.

Our service area includes a 1-hour radius of Gainesville, GA.

Meet the Team

Certified Labor Doula (ProDoula)

Emma Wareham, doula in Braselton, GA

From a young age, I have always felt a strong nurturing spirit. When I was 9, my mother became ill, and I stood by her side throughout her six-year journey until she passed away when I was 15. This experience made me comfortable in hospital environments and allowed me to be a source of light for her during difficult times. It taught me the importance of kindness and empathy, as well as the value of motherhood and the significance of feeling loved and supported. These qualities are the foundation of my work today.

I embraced motherhood early on and became a proud mom of two. I was inspired to become a doula after recognizing a lack of support during my first pregnancy. I wanted to provide the compassionate, dedicated care that I felt was missing.

My personal experience as a mother has given me a unique perspective on the challenges and joys of parenthood, shaping my path and fueling my commitment to offering heartfelt care to the families I serve.

I hope to be a valuable source of comfort, information, and guidance for you as well!

Childbirth Educator
Placenta Encapsulator

I've had a respect and curiosity for birth since I was a child thanks to a mother that was very open with me. I'm now a mother of three that went 'down the rabbit hole' of pregnancy and birth information during my first pregnancy. Informed decision making and knowing what options are available in all facets of personal health is extremely important to me. People having the freedom to make those decisions for themselves is extremely important to me. There is so much information out there when it comes to pregnancy and birth experiences. It's important that families learn and discuss the options that are available to them. This is where a doula business excels, in educating, not just attending birth. That is what we have tried to build in our business.

I enjoy getting to know families and about their cultures and customs as well. I am honored that families allow me along this journey with them, and I am so thankful for the connections I develop with families along the way.
